Baby Lucy Lifestyle Newborn Session

Welcoming a new baby into your family is a beautiful and emotional time shared by the whole family. The introduction of a new baby as your family starts to grow to an only child can be so sweet and in this case proved to be adorable. Older sister finally got to put together that the tummy bump that grew daily on mom was now gone and this precious little baby appeared. Big sis was so happy to hold and love on her new sister and it was so adorable to watch her interact with Baby Lucy. Soon the two will be playing together...each day passes so fast.

When trying to decide on whether you would like a newborn portrait session or lifestyle session, these are the things to consider. Photographing a newborn lifestyle session in a family's home means that we can include members of the family into the session catching all the natural interactions and responses to everything. Everyone is changing daily as your family grows and you want to document every change. In lifestyle sessions, there is little or no pressure to smile and be photo perfect because the perfection comes from your family's natural responses and getting to be who you really are. Also captured is the home and details that surrounded that time in your family's life. Years down the road, even if the children were too little to recall the details, they are forever documented in photos. Many photos may not be the ones that a family would hang on the walls or place on the desk, but would most assuredly include in albums that help you recall all the moments surrounding that time in your family's life.

Right after a baby is born, parents are usually too exhausted to want to dress up and pack up the family to go get portraits of the new baby. A lifestyle session takes that pressure off everyone and allows the family to stay close to home in a safe and quiet environment as they recover and start to adjust to all the changes that one child brings.

This family was so sweet and Baby Lucy will be loved and nurtured into a beautiful soul in their care.
